    I bought this book because of the cover. I love Friesian horses, so the cover worked in its effort to hook me. I did write the author on FB and asked about the content before purchasing and learned it was a subject matter that appealed to me, horse training. I was excited to start the book, but the first chapter was BRUTAL!/5(). The Friesian Warmblood Book is for horses with % - %% Friesian blood, and % - % Warmblood and/or Thoroughbred blood. Friesian Warmblood Book horses are further eligible for Bronze Elite, Silver Elite, and Gold Elite status.

    Originally used to carry knights in battle in the medieval period, the Friesian horse is a powerful and agile breed, and these days is most commonly used for dressage.
